Marcela Bogado’s culturally rich and globally influenced background shapes the refined perspective she brings to luxury wedding planning and event design. Raised on a farm in Buenos Aires, Argentina, her earliest memories are rooted in nature — jasmine in bloom, laurel trees in the breeze, pine carried in the air. That deep emotional connection to place and memory continues to inform her work today: every celebration she designs is intended to evoke feeling, meaning, and timeless beauty.

Marcela combines artistic vision with strategic precision. With extensive experience in both creative design and corporate environments, she executes at the highest level — ensuring every event is as seamless as it is visually compelling. Her clients trust her not only for her aesthetic sensibility but for her calm leadership, logistical expertise, and ability to manage complex productions with grace.

In 2002, she founded Malleret Designs, a name inspired by her mother’s French heritage and reflective of the effortless elegance that defines the brand. Marcela has trained with internationally recognized leaders, including Paula Pryke in London, Preston Bailey in New York, Jim Johnson at Texas A&M, DWP (Destination Wedding Planners), and Advantage for CEO.

Having planned and designed hundreds of luxury weddings, corporate events, and destination celebrations across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, Marcela brings depth of knowledge, cross-cultural fluency, and a fresh creative perspective to every project. From architecturally grand celebrations to understated, intimate gatherings, she transforms vision into extraordinary experiences.

Based in Austin, Texas, Marcela finds inspiration in art, architecture, and culture — from afternoons at Umlauf Sculpture Garden to visiting Lora Reynolds Gallery, attending live performances, and preparing traditional Argentine dinners for family and friends.
