Game of Thrones Inspired Wedding

Capturing the essence of Sabine and Galen's Game of Thrones wedding at Ma Maison was an absolute delight! From the initial brainstorming sessions, Sabine envisioned a majestic affair with elements inspired by the iconic series, set against the backdrop of Ma Maison's picturesque venue in Austin, Texas.

In collaboration with Sabine, we curated a vision that seamlessly blended the regal themes of Game of Thrones with the elegance of a black-tie affair. With multiple locations available for the ceremony within the venue, Ma Maison, the couple chose a spot that embodied their vision perfectly.

However, as fate would have it, the elements had other plans. Despite meticulous planning, a sudden shift in weather necessitated a last-minute change of plans. Yet, thanks to the foresight of our team at Malleret Designs and their backup rain plan, the seamless transition to the chapel ensured that the magic of the moment remained undiminished.

The ceremony itself was nothing short of magical and full of love, jokes, and happy tears. Guests were enchanted by the unexpected appearance of the Ceremony Owl Service, who played a pivotal role in the ring-bearing exchange.

As day turned to night, the reception came alive with performances by the Folkoholic Dance Theatre, captivating guests with their mesmerizing choreography. Sabine and Galen's entrance, accompanied by these talented performers, set the stage for an evening filled with celebration and joy.

Outside, the Hookah Lounge provided a cozy retreat, while the 360 Video and Photobooth immortalized memories shared among friends and family.

Sabine's meticulous attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the wedding embodied their vision. From the moment guests entered, they were immersed in a world of regal splendor. A ballroom flanked by lush burgundy and red florals, guided them to their seats amidst the rich ambiance of the venue.

The reception was a feast for the senses, with unique touches at every turn. The cake, ceremoniously cut with a sword, each guest was greeted with a gift box on their plate, and signature cocktails flowed freely, each sip a tribute to the couple's love story.
